Outlander Season 5 will come to Netflix Canada next month

It has been a long wait, but Canadians will soon be able to watch Outlander Season 5 on Netflix.

All 12 episodes of Outlander Season 5 will come to Netflix Canada on Jan. 16, 2021. It’s a little later than we thought it would be, but better late than never.

There still isn’t any word on when the fourth and fifth seasons will come to Netflix in the United States.

Will Outlander leave Netflix Canada at some point?

With the long wait for the fifth season to arrive on Netflix Canada, we had started to worry a little. STARZ is now available in Canada through Amazon Prime Channels and Crave as an extra add-on. Not all STARZ shows are available, though.

Most notably, Claire and Jamie are missing from the lineup. This is because W Network airs the show when new episodes arrive. For a time, the episodes are then available on Stack TV or through the Global TV app. After that, they go to Netflix Canada.

Eventually, STARZ may want to keep all its content on its own app. We’re keeping an eye out for if that is ever going to happen.

What to expect on Outlander Season 5

For those who are still to see the fifth season, you’re in for a treat. I know there are some who wait for it to arrive on Netflix Canada.

The season picks up with the whole family living on Fraser’s Ridge. However, the threat of the Regulators has Jamie forced into honoring the deal he made with Governor Tryon back in the Outlander Season 4 premiere. Will he continue to fight on the wrong side of history for the sake of family and land?

To make matters worse, his godfather, Murtagh, is on the side of the Regulators. Will Jamie and Murtagh have to face head to head?
