Breaking down the shortest chapter of Outlander Book 3

We get to the shortest chapter of Voyager. In fact, I think it’s the shortest chapter of the whole Outlander story.

After being set in the 1750s for so long, we jump back to 1968. Previously in the time period, Claire had found Jamie’s name on the prison records for Ardsmuir. It’s hard to believe that happened a week ago in terms of our breakdowns! Since then, we’ve followed Jamie’s time at the prison, but now it’s time to jump back to the 20th century.

Roger and Brianna learn that Claire has found Jamie. The search is still on as it only gets us to the late 1750s, but there’s a little bit of hope. Finally, Jamie’s name is in the records.

This chapter was partially used for the series. Considering it’s a two-minute chapter on Audible, it was never going to be difficult to include it. However, it is added in completely differently. Roger and Bree do find out Claire finds Jamie’s name, but it’s not in the way it plays out in the written word.

It’s time to get into the Voyager Chapter 13 breakdown. This is going to be a very short breakdown.
