There are four Outlander Untold stories on the Outlander Season 5 DVD and Blu-ray boxsets. Lizzie and Young Ian have a story, and we now get a sneak peek of what to expect.
This story takes place during the Outlander Season 5 finale. Young Ian has returned with Roger, Brianna, and wee Jemmy to find out that Claire has been abducted. He immediately wants to go with his uncle to save Claire, but first he needs his war paint.
That’s what he makes in the clip. However, Lizzie is terrified hearing that Young Ian is ready to go off on this war.
Lizzie shows how much she still cares about Young Ian
During the Outlander Untold clip, Lizzie tries to stop Young Ian from going. She doesn’t want him to leave just after getting him back. She’s terrified that he’ll die while out searching for his aunt.
It shows just how much she cares about Young Ian. Throughout the fourth season she was smitten by him, but this scene shows that he has a place in her heart. And she likely fears for anyone who she has got to know. Young Ian just happens to be the one closest to her; the one she’s known the longest out of all the young men around.
However, the scene is also important for Young Ian. He is embodying everything he learned while being part of the Mohawk tribe. While he is a Highlander, he is also a Mohawk, and he’s blending the two cultures together. When it comes to war, it’s all about the tribe.
