John Bell teases that Outlander Season 6 filming will start soon
All eyes are on when Outlander Season 6 filming will begin. Well, it looks like filming is starting soon. Preparations have certainly started.
John Bell took to Instagram to share that he’s getting ready to return to filming. He’s working on his hair to make sure it’s ready for the “Mohawk/Highland Warrior” look.
This look does take time to get right. It’s only Day 1 so far. He hasn’t said how many days it will take. But it tells us that he is getting ready to get back on set. This is great news for everyone, as it means filming should start up soon.
Young Ian is returning to Outlander Season 6
Something the Instagram post tells us is that John Bell will return to the series. This shouldn’t be surprising considering the way Young Ian’s storyline ended in Season 5. He has a story that he’s hiding from people, not ready to tell just yet. So far, he’s only hinted at some of what happened with the Mohawks to Roger.
What it doesn’t tell us how much he’ll be involved in the season. Young Ian’s storyline grows considerably throughout the rest of the books. John Bell’s involvement in the show should grow too.
When will Outlander Season 6 filming begin?
Now, of course, we want to know when filming will start. So far, we’re only working with the knowledge filming will start sometime in the fall. Parts of Scotland have entered into local lockdown, including around the Glasgow area, but hopefully, that won’t cause a problem for filming.
Of course, we just want to make sure those involved in filming are safe.
