What’s included on the Outlander Season 5 Collector’s Edition?
What will you get when you buy the Outlander Season 5 Collector’s Edition
When it comes to choosing the Outlander Season 5 DVD boxset best for you, you’ll likely want to look at the bonus features. The Collector’s Edition has everything the regular DVD boxset has and more.
The question for many is whether the Collector’s Edition is worth the month. Do the differences stand out?
All the features from the Outlander Season 5 DVD boxset
The Outlander Season 5 Collector’s Edition includes everything available on the DVD and Blu-ray boxsets. You’ll get all discs in Blu-ray format, just to make you aware if you’re still running only a DVD player.
The DVD set comes with two featurettes:
- Strength in Action: The Women of Outlander—Looking at how the women are powerhouses in the show.
- Through Fire & Hell: The Finale—Looking into the creation of that heartbreaking but beautifully crafted finale
It’s not 100% clear what all the deleted scenes will be, but there are 16 of them to entertain you! Off the top of my head, that’s more than we’ve seen on any other boxset.
The two features are:
- The Heart of the Frasers—looking at Claire and Jamie’s relationship and their bond with their family
- Expanding the World: Sets & Costumes—This one is pretty self-explanatory and seems fitting with Season 5 being Jon Gary Steele’s last season doing the sets.
Extra features on the Outlander Season 5 Collector’s Edition
When it comes to the Outlander Season 5 Collector’s Edition, it’s all about the excerpt from “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.” There was an excerpt included in the Season 4 edition, but this is a new one to add to your collection.
The other two extras are the digibook and the Outlander Season 5 soundtrack on disc.
Of course, you’ll get the premium cover, too. This will make the Collector’s Edition stand out on the shelves and match the others you’ve already bought.
You can pre-order the Collector’s Edition on Amazon.
The Outlander Season 5 Collector’s Edition is available on Sept. 15.
