Outlander Untold: Lizzie and Young Ian will get a Season 5 story

Young Ian and Lizzie have got an Outlander Untold story coming up

We’re getting ready for the Outlander Season 5 Collector’s Edition. This is the best boxset because it includes so many bonus features.

Outlander Untold is one of the bonus features many fans have come to adore. The segments started in the fourth season and have continued into the fifth season. I think they’ll probably stick around for the sixth season, too.

Not all stories can fit into a season. The showrunners know that, but also know that some characters have storylines that fans would love to see. Or maybe the writers just want to offer a story that hasn’t been seen in the books without taking away from the series.

Young Ian and Lizzie will get an Outlander Untold story on the fifth season Collector’s Edition. Take a look at the behind-the-scenes photos.

What will the Lizzie and Young Ian story be about?

Lizzie and Young Ian are in the kitchen, by the looks of things. It’s set after Young Ian returns from the Mohawks, and I’m sure the two will have a lot of catching up to do.

Lizzie had a huge crush on Young Ian before he left. Now that he’s returned, we haven’t seen if those feelings are still there. This short segment may help us understand some of that.

After all, we know from the virtual PaleyFest panel that there’s going to be a storyline involving Lizzie coming up. Those who have read the books will know exactly what that storyline is and it doesn’t involve her crush on Young Ian.

The segment isn’t there to offer anything overly vital to understand the characters in the show. It’s an extension to the series, just offering a sweet scene that helps us get through Droughtlander a little more.

This is the third installment. Fergus and Marsali will have a scene and so will Murtagh and Ulysses. There are four stories to come, so it’s exciting to see who will be involved in the last one. It’s worth following The Outlander Collection on Instagram to keep up to date.
