Outlander fans can see Sera-Lys McArthur on Burden of Truth Season 3
Outlander’s Sera-Lys McArthur is one of the main actors on Burden of Truth Season 3
It’s time to see a different character played by an Outlander guest star. Sera-Lys McArthur has one of the main roles on Burden of Truth Season 3.
The roles are very different to each other. For one, McArthur’s new character, Kodie, will do everything she can for her children. She’s not someone who will pass a child to others and walk into a fire to die with her lover. Her kids are everything to Kodie, and this is where the storyline develops.
Just on what you’ll learn from the initial trailer for the third season, Kodie is a former addict who has got clean for her kids. However, someone is out to hurt her, and they do that by arranging for her children to be taken away by social services.
Sera-Lys McArthur has the chance to show off her skills
We got to meet McArthur as the Mohawk member who was in love with Father Alexandre. They had a child together, but because Father Alexandre wouldn’t baptize the child, he was executed. She decided to step into the fire for him. She barely said anything, but she didn’t really have to. We understood the character’s thoughts from facial expressions and actions.
That’s not the case on Burden of Truth. McArthur certainly shows her acting abilities throughout the third season. Already aired in Canada, the episodes are now airing on The CW weekly. McArthur is in each episode and is an essential part of the story.
There’s far more to Kodie than initially meets the eye. She has a dark past and comes from a troublesome family, but does that mean she deserves to have her children taken away from her? She turns to her old friend, Joanna, who promises she will do everything she can to get Kodie’s kids back.
If you missed the first episode on The CW last week, there’s no need to worry. You should be able watch the episodes on The CW App for free.
