Will a new episode of Outlander Season 5 air on Sunday, May 17?

It’s Sunday, so you’re likely turning your attention to STARZ for a new episode of our favorite time-traveling love story. Well, it’s more like a whole family story now with how much it’s grown. Either way, you want more; a new episode. Will there be an episode of Outlander Season 5 on tonight, Sunday, May 17?

I have some bad news for you. The previous episode was the Season 5 finale. There is no new episode tonight.

There won’t even be a rerun. You know what STARZ is like when it comes to the channel. Sunday nights tend to air new episodes of shows, and tonight will see the premiere of Hightown. I know it’s not going to be up everyone’s alley, but it’s something to watch if you love TV crime dramas and want to see Monica Raymund in a new series.

As for Outlander, you’ll need to turn to the STARZ App to rewatch your favorite episodes. You can start from the very beginning again or you could start watching Season 5 from the beginning. Maybe you’ll choose one specific episode to watch. The finale is a great episode to rewatch for the fantasy world to see which connections you missed. There are more and more with each subsequent viewings.

What about Season 6? That’s not going to happen for a while. Writing is ongoing but filming can’t start just yet. There are tentative plans to being filming in the fall, which pushes the release to about fall 2021 at the earliest. We’ll keep you updated with any news we received.

Personally, I’m watching Hightown as I’m interested in TV crime dramas as well as Outlander. I’ll also watch Vida because I’ve loved that show since its premiere. Other than that, it’s time to go back to the beginning of Claire and Jamie’s story and follow it through again—and, of course, read the books once more.
