3 best Jamie moments from the Outlander Season 5 finale

The Outlander Season 5 finale saw Jamie go to war for Claire. It’s time to look back at the episode, starting with Jamie’s three best moments.

Before we start thinking about Droughtlander, we have an episode of Outlander Season 5 to break down. It’s all about that harrowing, emotional finale. While it was about Claire, we got some excellent Jamie moments.

Like every episode, I’m breaking it down to find the best three moments. Here are my favorite moments from the entire episode. And let me tell you, it was almost impossible to do this!

3. Helping Marsali

After Marsali kills Lionel Brown, she knows that she’s done wrong. Well, sort of done wrong. She has no remorse for the man, but this can cause problems for the Frasers. The Browns will be after them.

Jamie doesn’t get angry with Marsali for her actions. He doesn’t even blame her for having this reaction to Lionel. However, he does make it clear that she’s not going to hell for killing him. She did what she had to do to protect everyone around her.

2. Just holding Claire in bed

At the very end of the episode, Claire and Jamie lay in bed. The episode changed slightly from the books, where there is a moment of love making between the Frasers. I’m glad the show adapted this part.

Instead, we got Jamie just holding his wife. He wants to know how he feels. “Safe,” she tells him. And we can tell that’s all he needs to know at this time. Her being safe is all that matters.

1. “Kill them all”

There’s a line that we’d all hoped would make it. When Sam Heughan told us “kill them all” was his favorite from the Outlander Season 5 finale, it excited us. And it was just as I expected. Low and threatening.

Jamie will kill for Claire knowing she can’t do it herself due to her oath. He takes oaths seriously so would expect her to, as well. But he also accepted that others would kill for her. He gave one swift order. Take no prisoners. “Kill them all.”
