How did we get to the penultimate episode of Outlander Season 5 already? It feels like the first episode of the season premiered just last week. Yet, we’ve been through 10 episodes of intensity and drama. Don’t expect anything to slow down before the end. The Outlander Season 5, Episode 11 synopsis makes that clear.

The show has made some big changes in terms of plotline speed. Stephen Bonnet is dead, something that doesn’t happen until the sixth book of the series. However, doesn’t look like it will change something important: Brianna and Roger possibly heading back through the stones.

That’s the topic of conversation for Episode 11. The two need to decide whether there’s anything for them in the 18th century. While Bree’s parents are here, it’s not safe. Roger won’t necessarily want to stick around and he is still struggling to find a place in this time. It’s understandable that he wants to head back.

And with everything that has now happened to Brianna, is it surprising that she may be considering heading back? Sure, she wants to be around her parents. However, she’ll also need to make sure her son is safe.

Then there’s the threat of the Revolutionary War coming. There’s unrest in the backcountry, which is something Jamie will have to deal with throughout Outlander Season 5, Episode 11.
