Everyone seems battle-ready again on Outlander Season 5, Episode 9 based on the images. We know that Fergus, Josiah Beardsley, and a few of the tenants are back by Jamie and Roger’s side as they tackle whatever the situation is.
Based on the promo and synopsis, this is the episode that focuses on the snakebite. That could explain some of the other images for the episode. But first, let’s look at the reason the group of men are in the woods. This is before the snakebite since Jamie is well, so what could it mean?
We know that Jamie is worried about Stephen Bonnet. He doesn’t just want revenge, but he is sure that Bonnet could take Jemmy away from Brianna and Roger. Naturally, nobody wants that to happen, so Jamie and Roger will do whatever it takes to keep Jemmy safe.
Does this mean Stephen Bonnet is the threat during Outlander Season 5, Episode 9? It’s certainly possible, but this isn’t a man who would come to the Ridge on his own. He’d build up a small group of men to attack, and he probably wouldn’t attack in broad daylight. While Bonnet is ambitious, he’s also a smart man.
What is good to see in the images is that Jamie and Roger are by each other’s sides. After everything that happened at the Battle of Alamance, their relationship has changed for the better. Let’s hope the show portrays this well.

The more concerning images from Outlander Season 5, Episode 9 involve those at the Big House. There is someone in Claire’s surgery. We know this is the episode when Jamie is bitten by a snake. Is he the one in the surgery or will Claire have multiple people to care for?
Claire is certainly going to be scared. She doesn’t necessarily have everything she needs to save her husband from a venomous snake bite. This is going to be a major episode for all.
