The Outlander Season 5, Episode 9 synopsis gives us a hint of things to expect. More importantly, it tells us the snakebite is happening.

After an episode about recovery and trauma, we’re moving onto a storyline that book fans had hoped would make it to the show. The synopsis for Outlander Season 5, Episode 9 tells us that the snakebite is definitely happening. Here’s a look at what we can expect in the episode.

The synopsis doesn’t go into too much detail about the events of the episode. It’s all focused around one particular event: the snakebite. Jamie is bitten and not by just any snake. He’s bitten by a venomous one, and he knows that there’s a strong chance that he will die from this.

Roger is with him at the time. The two’s relationship has changed considerably since Alamance. It’s up to Roger to help save his father-in-law, but is there anything he can do? Is there something that he knows from the future that will help him deal with this specific situation?

He just needs to help Jamie wait out the worst of it for Claire to get to them. The problem is Claire may not have everything she needs to help her husband recover. Is this the point that she will lose Jamie forever?

The Outlander Season 5, Episode 9 synopsis also tells us that Jamie asks Roger to complete a task. This important task is more than likely killing Stephen Bonnet. This is hinted at in the promo.
