Outlander Season 5, Episode 3 images: The twins are introduced

The images for Outlander Season 5, Episode 3 have been released. We get a glimpse of the Beardsley twins and the group leaving the Ridge.

After the events of the second episode, it’s clear that the militia is needed. Even if Jamie doesn’t want to hunt down Murtagh, he needs to protect the people from the growing threats of the Regulators. They will stop at nothing. So, it’s not surprising that the images of Outlander Season 5, Episode 3 give us a look at the group leaving Fraser’s Ridge.

While a group will leave, we also get a hint of the Beardsley twins. We’ve met Josiah so far, but he (unknowingly to the Frasers right now) has a twin brother. The images don’t give too much away, except that Claire and Jamie will meet the twins. We know from the promo this leads to the two of them heading to the Beardsley house, which means plenty of horror and drama.

We also get a few images of Claire and Jamie together. After being apart in the last episode (hey, it does happen in the books!), the two are on the road together. Claire isn’t going to allow the militia to go out without a surgeon at their disposal. She has wartime experience, so she knows how to deal with things during a battle. Out of everyone from the future, she’s the one they need the most.

While all that happens, a group will remain at Fraser’s Ridge. Marsali and Brianna are part of that group, and there’s one moment that will be reminsicent of Claire leaving Bree in Outlander Season 4. At least this time, they’re separating for more positive reasons and Roger is heading out with them

It should mean some time for Marsali and Brianna to bond. This is something I’ve been hoping for in Season 5, even before I read “The Fiery Cross.”

Marsali has a job to do while she stays behind. She needs to check on the mold to make sure it looks like penicillin mold.

There is one image that will stand out for a future episode. Isaiah Morton stands cautious in the woods. You’ll remember him as the man who stood forward to pledge his allegiance to Jamie before Roger, but he plays an important role in Episode 4.

Overall, the images just give us a snapshot of what to expect in Season 5, Episode 3. It tells us nothing of what Claire and Jamie will find when they reach the Beardsley home.
