Jamie and Claire deal with a horrific tale in Outlander Season 5, Episode 3. Here’s a look at the synopsis to get an idea of what to expect.
The threat of the Regulators is on the rise and Jamie now has no choice but to gain men for his militia. That means he and Claire head off on a journey across the Carolina wilderness. Here’s a look at what to expect in Outlander Season 5, Episode 3 based on the synopsis.
Titled “Free Will,” this is the episode that is more like a story from Stephen King. It’s full of dark and horrific horror, as the Frasers head to the Beardsley property. And this is something that the synopsis goes into.
One of the settlers reveals that he’s a bondservant. We know that this is Josiah Beardsley, who isn’t alone in the world. However, you’ll need to find out more about the twins as the episodes go on. This is a big one in explaining who the two are and how they’ve come to being on the Ridge.
When he shares that his master is abusive, Jamie and Claire don’t feel it right to send him back. They would also like him to live on the Ridge, being a hunter for the women while the militia is out fighting the war. But first, the Frasers will need to deal with the abusive master and buy the bond.
It’s not going to be that easy, and that’s not because of the master’s lack of willingness to sell the bond. Instead, the Frasers find themselves in a horrific story and had difficult decisions to make.
