5 best Claire moments from the Outlander Season 5 premiere

What a beautiful but heartbreaking Outlander Season 5 premiere. Claire had some excellent moments throughout. Here are my five favorite moments.

There were certainly some excellent moments throughout the Outlander Season 5 premiere. I’ve looked at my favorite moments overall, which included moments that involved some of the side characters. Now it’s time to bring the focus back on Claire Fraser.

She had some of her strongest moments throughout the series. The episode was full of love and happiness, although it did end with heartbreak. Here are my favorite Claire moments throughout the Outlander Season 5 premiere.

5. Standing up for Roger

Poor Roger is getting a lot of flack for having to stay behind and make a choice. He doesn’t regret doing that and it doesn’t sound like Brianna holds it against him. However, Jamie continues to believe that Roger isn’t right for his daughter.

Just before the wedding, Claire took the time to stand up for her son-in-law. Sure, Roger didn’t immediately return, but in the end he did. While Jamie seems to doubt Roger’s love for Bree, Claire doesn’t. And she continued the support for her son-in-law with a quick boost of confidence at the end of the wedding aisle.

One thing Claire understands is how out of place Roger feels. He’s a man of his own time, and she gets that he wants to head back there.
