2. Seeing the festivities

I fully enjoyed the wedding. Something that I enjoyed was seeing how the people of the Ridge were enjoying the festivities. There’s a real community among the people of the Ridge.

Seeing Fergus, Marsali, John Quincy Myers, and Lord John Grey have some fun with them by playing drinking games was just something lighthearted to throw in the episode. It was a way to make the festivities relatable. After all, we all saw ourselves in someone within that circle, right?

Oh, and let’s not forget the hilarious moment of JQM falling over while drunk and asleep. LJG’s face was a picture.

1. The flashback with Claire and Jamie

I wish I could just put the entire buildup to the wedding and the wedding itself. However, I feel like that’s cheating. I know many of you will have wanted to see moments between Jamie and Brianna or between Claire and Brianna on this list, but there’s something else that I adored.

It was the flashback to Claire and Jamie’s wedding. We saw where all this really began. There was a chance for a private renewal of the vows between Claire and Jamie as their daughter married her husband. We get a reminder of how far Claire and Jamie’s relationship has come. It was just a beautiful and quick addition that meant the world to me.
