Outlander Season 5 will see two weddings happen
We all know that Brianna and Roger are getting married in Outlander Season 5. It turns out there is a second wedding in the season.
Outlander Season 5 will see a wedding happen in the premiere episode. That’s no surprise or spoiler anymore. It was revealed a few months back, and we know it’s going to be Brianna and Roger’s wedding.
However, it turns out that there will be a second wedding in the fifth season. According to Radio Times, costume designer Trisha Biggar shared that the second wedding would happen later on, and we’ll see Brianna is a beautiful dress because of it.
This suggests that someone close to Brianna is getting married. Will Claire and Jamie renew their vows? Well, that’s not a wedding, is it? There are high chances that we’re looking at Jocasta.
Those who have read “The Fiery Cross” know that Aunt Jocasta does marry. However, the character she marries hasn’t been introduced in the show yet. She marries Duncan Innes, and the initial plan is that the two would marry at the same time as Roger and Brianna.
Jocasta’s storyline is currently linked to Murtagh. In the latest Ask Ausiello scoop, we know that the talk of marriage comes up. The question is whether this is Murtagh proposing or Jocasta talking about marrying someone else.
There is the potential for Duncan Innes to show up in the fifth season. An explanation of who he is to those who haven’t read the books wouldn’t be difficult in just one line, especially if it Jocasta was telling Murtagh about her marriage prospects. Innes was at Ardsmuir with Jamie, so Murtagh would know him, too.
Whoever she marries, it’s highly likely that Jocasta is the other woman getting married in the fifth season. However, it’s not until later in the story, but will our silvery foxes end on a happy note?
