Want to work on the set of Outlander? Trainee positions for Outlander Season 6 are now open. Here are all the details you need to apply.

Hands up if you want to work on the set of Outlander? Okay, I know everyone reading this has their hands up. And while these opportunities aren’t available to everyone, they are available to many.

The Outlander Training Program is open. This will allow you to work on the set of Outlander Season 6, which will be going into production in just a few months. In fact, May is the slated date right now. The traineeships will begin in March, though, as there’s a lot of work that needs to happen before filming can start.

Right now, the traineeships are open in production design, costume, plastering, painting, production, and locations. There are specific deadline dates for each type of traineeship, so you’ll want to pay attention to them. One is coming up very soon, on Feb. 14, 2020, while some of the others aren’t coming up until the middle of March.

There are possibilities of other opportunities in other areas of production later in the year. There’s no guarantee of these, but they include armoury, SFX, VFX, and much more.

So, how do you apply? You need to head over to the official website and click on the areas that you’re interested in. You can also sign up for email alerts if and when others open up.

Obviously, there are some restrictions, including where you live. You need to live near Cumbernauld and will need to have eligibility to work in the UK. You’ll also need to have a basic understanding of the way film and TV works, as the production works on a strict timeline.

Think you have what it takes? Head over and put your application in. What have you got to lose?

Outlander Season 5 premieres on Feb. 16 on STARZ. Outlander Season 6 will start filming in May 2020.
