Claire and Jamie are together in Outlander Season 5

Throughout all four seasons so far, we haven’t had a chance to see Claire and Jamie really be happy together. That’s changing in Outlander Season 5.

Sam Heughan had the chance to talk about what fans could expect in Outlander Season 5, and part of his interview touched on Claire and Jamie. We’ve spent so long watching them get together only to separate again, but things are changing.

From the very beginning, there have been questions about whether the two can find happiness together. Despite everything that has been written in the books, the two have been pulled apart routinely throughout the past four seasons of the series. Even when together, there’s been something that has kept them somewhat apart, as feelings grow and change.

But things are looking up for Outlander Season 5. Heughan shared that Jamie and Claire will build a home together. They have a family, and they finally get the chance to be happy together.

This season isn’t about whether they will find their way back to one another. They’re in a good place and nothing is going to tear them down. Not even the upcoming threat of war.

Naturally, Jamie wants Claire and his family to be safe. He wants to do everything in his power to protect them, and even suggests that they head back to their own time. But Claire isn’t having any of it this year. She spent 20 years apart from Jamie because she left him before the Battle of Culloden. At that point, she had their unborn child to think about, but this time she doesn’t.

Brianna is old enough to look out for herself and has a child of her own. Claire can now make sure she stands by Jamie’s side. And that’s exactly what she will do.

There are going to be more intimate moments between the two, which is something we’ve definitely seen in the Outlander Season 5 official trailer. Things are looking great for the strongest couple on television right now.
