The Outlander Season 5 trailer dropped earlier this month. I’ve broken down the trailer into the top takeaways, ready for the new season.
There has been plenty of talk around specific reveals in the Outlander Season 5 trailer. We’re especially curious about one major Jamie moment, which may or may not be a spoiler. However, there are many other big moments that have gone unnoticed or just aren’t talked about as much.
I’ve spent the weekend watching the trailer over and over again, picking out some of the biggest moments. Here are my top 10 findings and what they could suggest for the future.
10. Connections to past seasons
At the very start of the Outlander Season 5 trailer, we see Claire talk about the past. There are clips of her and Jamie from previous seasons. Does this suggest there are some connections to past seasons? Will we get flashes to the past (we know there’s likely a 1960s scene) or are these just reminders between Claire and Jamie?
9. Murtagh and Jocasta
There’s a moment of Murtagh kneeling next to Jocasta and she’s crying. It suggests that this the end of their relationship. Everything was great while it lasted, but Murtagh is on the opposite side of a war to Jocasta. She’s not going to side with the Regulators just yet. Let’s get to the main Revolutionary War for her to make that jump.
