While there are no Outlander cast members confirmed for the celebrations, they will all be celebrating along with you. In fact, Sam Heughan just recently talked about how Hogmanay is a bigger celebration than Christmas, and it certainly is. Christmas wasn’t even a national holiday in Scotland until the 1950s, and Jan. 2 is a day off for the Scots due to the Hogmanay celebrations.
You’ll be able to stream the events from 7:30 p.m. GMT on Dec. 31 from your tablet or phone. You can also watch through your computer or stream to your TV screens. The stream will finish at 1 a.m. GMT on Jan. 1. That means you get to see the amazing firework display over Edinburgh Castle.
The live streaming will take place on the official Hogmanay website. It will also be available through Facebook and Twitter, making it as easy as possible to watch the entire event.
