If you’ve been watching the first two seasons of Outlander on Netflix, you’ll want to know when Season 3 is available. It’s coming in December 2019.

Outlander heading to Netflix in the United States was an exciting surprise. However, only the first two seasons were added, meaning viewers had to head over to STARZ to see the third and fourth seasons. We all wondered if future seasons would head to Netflix. Well, there’s some great news, as Outlander Season 3 heads to Netflix in December.

While the December releases haven’t been shared just yet, we do know that Netflix will add the third season of Outlander Season 3 on Dec. 10, 2019. This is something you’ll see when you click on the title through your service.

Sure, other locations around the world have the third (and fourth, in some cases) season on the streaming service. The U.S. is always going to be a little behind. After all, STARZ wants to encourage viewers to sign up to its streaming service, and the best way to do that is to make sure episodes are exclusive to the streamer.

When will the fourth season be available? That’s certainly going to take some time. Adding the third season now is likely strategic. STARZ will encourage you to watch up to the third season and then need to catch up with the fourth season through STARZ before the fifth season premieres in February.

Eventually, the fourth season will likely be added to Netflix. This will likely be sometime in 2020, ahead of the Season 6 premiere on STARZ whenever that will be, likely in 2021.
