Caitriona Balfe is shining as Mollie Miles in Ford v Ferrari. Can’t get to the theaters? Here’s how long you’re waiting for it to be on DVD and Blu-ray.

Ford v Ferrari is out in theaters, and there are high chances that you’ve gone to see it as an Outlander fan. We want to support Caitriona Balfe in her other projects. Part of supporting her will be getting the car racing movie on DVD or Blu-ray when released. So, when will that be? When will Ford v Ferrari be on Digital, DVD, and Blu-ray?

While we don’t have the exact date just yet, it is possible to take an educated guess. Ford v Ferrari is a 20th Century Fox movie, so we can look at others from the same company to see when they were released to get a rough date. For the purpose of this, we’ll look at Dark Phoenix and Alita: Battle Angel to get an idea on the release date.

20th Century Fox can release movies any time between two months and four months after the theatrical release date. The exact timing can depend on the fan reaction to the movies, but also the distribution deals that are taking place.

Dark Phoenix was released two months after the theatrical date. This was likely due to some changes going on at Marvel, the Sony deals possibly being affected, and because it was a summer movie. Alita: Battle Angel was popular in the theaters, which could have contributed to the slower release.

Ford v Ferrari is in the middle of these two movies. It’s highly likely that it will take two to three months for it to make it to DVD and Blu-ray, so we’re looking at the middle of January to the middle of February as a release date. At the very latest, it will be the middle of March 2020.

As for the Digital release, that will likely be two weeks before the DVD release. We’re looking at the beginning of January 2020 at the very earliest.
