This is one of the slower episodes of the season in terms of days moving forward. However, it’s an important one for individual storylines. While the Frasers head off on their journey, they have some help. Fergus joins the two, but he’s not alone.

Meanwhile, we also have Mr. Willoughby’s storyline. Get ready for plenty of superstitions of the past to come out as a drought occurs. This is a chance for Mr. Willoughby to show off his knowledge of the world, his backstory, and so much more. You’ll certainly gain an appreciation for his character.
This is just the start of the journey across the high seas. There is more to come over the next few episodes, and some of the details and foreshadowing of things to come happen within “The Doldrums.”
