Diana Gabaldon and Tara Bennett discuss and sign The Making of Outlander Book 2
The second Making of Outlander book is on its way. Diana Gabaldon and Tara Bennett will be available to discuss and sign the book in October.
You’ll have heard by now that Tara Bennett’s second The Making of Outlander book is on its way. This book will look into the world of Seasons 3 and 4, with beautiful pictures, details of what it takes to create the series, and much more. Now, she and Outlander author Diana Gabaldon will discuss and sign the book (and more) at an upcoming event.
Poisoned Pen shared the event information. Gabaldon and Bennett will take to the stage on Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. (local Arizona time) to talk about the creation of the book, the creation of Outlander and much more. The second book will pick up off the back of the first book, which looked into Seasons 1 and 2 of the TV show.

There are exclusive interviews with the cast members, the writers, producers, costume designers, set decorators, and so much more. This is more than just a companion to the series, but a dive into the behind the scenes that make the series come to life in such a beautiful way.
You can find out all the details of the event at the Poisoned Pen website, including how to get tickets. I’d grab them quickly as these types of events sell out fast.
When it comes to signing books, don’t bring your own! Diana Gabaldon will only sign The Making of Outlander Book 2 and any of her books bought at the actual event. Even if you have the whole collection, I’d be tempted to get the books again to have them signed and put them somewhere safe where they will remain untouched for life!
