If you thought saving a marriage was hard, try doing it in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. First, that zombie apocalypse has to start and Outlander’s Ed Speleers witnesses it in this ZOO exclusive clip.
Outlander’s Ed Speleers is a busy man. Off the back of his Season 4 appearance as Stephen Bonnet, he’s now in the role of a husband who will need to try to save his marriage while protecting himself and his wife from the zombie apocalypse. In this ZOO exclusive clip, we witness the beginning of the apocalypse with a plane literally flying into a building.
This dark comedy focuses on humanity and the way they act when everything falls apart outside. For the most part, we’re in the flat, just seeing how a small group of people will react to the horrors outside. Of course, eventually, the apocalypse reaches them and they’ll need to fight or die in the war.

Speleers plays John, husband to Zoe Tapper’s Karen. However, their marriage has lost its spark and they’re on the verge of divorce. When the pandemic hits, they need to just get along in their flat. But that’s always going to be easier said than done. Will they find out what they’ve always loved about each other again?
For those who have only seen Speleers in Outlander, this is certainly going to be fun to watch. ZOO sees him keep his own accent (he puts on the Irish charm for the series) and he no longer plays the cocky pirate. You’ll get to see him in a completely different light.
