TV Time users rank Outlander Season 2’s finale as one of the best season finales ever

Every year, shows bring their seasons to an end. Outlander is on the list of the best season finales ranked by TV Time users.

TV Time users certainly love Outlander. After it was classed as one of the best fantasy shows on TV, users have now declared that the Season 2 finale is one of the best season finales ever.

Season finales are big events that come around every year. They wrap up some of the storylines from the past season while opening up storylines for the next season. While Outlander also had source material to be faithful to, it still needed to tell a story for the show-first or show-only fans.

The Season 2 finale ranks in eighth place among all other season finales ever to have aired on TV. This includes shows on primetime, cable, streaming services, and more. There are current and old shows on this list, showing just where Claire and Jamie rank among fans of all TV.

While there are many more shows, this list is the top 15, so Outlander sits around the halfway mark. It’s a good ranking, especially when you consider that three Peaky Blinders season finales and two How to Get Away with Murder andSteven Universe season finales are on the list.

Out of the four season finales we’ve had so far, the second season has certainly been the strongest. It brought an end to the two-season storyline that was Claire falling through the stones and starting her life with Jamie in the lead-up to the Battle of Culloden. Season 3 almost felt like a reset with the 20-year time jump and the third season was a lead into the life in the Colonies. Season 2 hit every single note perfectly for me.
