Fed up of having multiple streaming subscriptions? If you want to watch Outlander in the off season, there is some good news. Outlander Seasons 1 and 2 are reportedly coming to Netflix U.S. in May 2019.
One of the downsides of Outlander being on STARZ is that it can run expensive to keep watching. That’s especially the case if you have Netflix for other shows. Well, the costs may be going down. Outlander Seasons 1 and 2 are coming to Netflix U.S.
At the moment, the series is available on Netflix in other locations around the world. If you’re in Canada, Australia, France, and some other locations, you can watch the first three seasons. Netflix U.S. has always missed out because the series is a STARZ Original and is available on the STARZ streaming service.

It sounds like things may be changing. According to Netflix Family on Twitter (connected to Netflix officially), the first two seasons will be available to stream on Netflix on May 27.
This is official. What’s not clear is why the sudden change. After all, Netflix and STARZ are two separate companies and I never expected to see STARZ allow its shows to be streamed elsewhere in the United States — internationally is a different game.
While it’s only the first two seasons for now, this does offer some good news for the future. There’s a chance other seasons will be available at later dates. For comparison, the first two seasons were released on Netflix Canada first and then a little more than a year later, the third season dropped.
