If you’re still looking for reasons to head to Highlanders 4, this could be the top one. Maria Doyle Kennedy is heading to the August Outlander convention.
Starfury’s Highlanders 4 has just become one more guest better. Maria Doyle Kennedy is joining the Outlander convention in August, and I couldn’t be more excited.
This is a guest list that’s gradually getting bigger and it’s certainly getting exciting. Doyle Kennedy plays Aunt Jocasta in the fourth season and this fact makes the guest lineup even more interesting. Last week, Starfury confirmed that Duncan Lacroix — better known as Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser — would join the summer convention.

The fourth season finale saw Jocasta and Murtagh finally end up together. It’s clear that this is a relationship that will continue into the fifth season, while also dealing with the fact that Murtagh is now a wanted man and Jamie has been ordered to capture and kill him.
With the convention still a few months away, the full guest list hasn’t been finalized yet. There are no planned activities on the website either — however, the website hasn’t been updated with the latest guest additions and only shows David Berry.
Gold and Regular Tickets are currently available. They’re the only two ways to get into the convention, with the Gold Tickets offering the most benefits at an affordable rate. Child tickets are also available for eight- to 14-year-olds when an adult ticket is purchased, with children under seven able to attend for free.
The Birmingham, UK Outlander convention takes place between Aug. 9-11.
