Outlander EPs bringing an ‘exciting announcement’ later today
We may be in Droughtlander but that doesn’t mean we have radio silence. The Outlander EPs are taking to social media live with an ‘exciting announcement.’
We’re into Droughtlander and there’s a fear that we’ll just get radio silence from the show. That’s not the case. At least, not yet. The Outlander EPs are taking to social media for an “exciting announcement.”
Toni Graphia and Maril Davis are taking to Entertainment Weekly‘s Facebook page at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT, delivering an announcement. We don’t know what that announcement is going to be and there are no hints about it, but at least it means no radio silence for the time being.

Considering it’s two EPs who have been a consistently vocal part of the show. Both have been involved in sharing teases of what’s to come or have chatted after the show about some of the decisions and the meanings behind the titles. They both help to add more details to the world of the series, answering questions that fans have.
They will also answer some fan questions, which suggests the announcement will come up at the end of the live stream. What could that “exciting announcement” be? How about an Outlander Season 5 premiere date?
Okay, that is extremely unlikely. The filming hasn’t even started yet, so there’s no way they could give a premiere date. However, they could announce when the filming will start. Or there may be the Season 4 DVD release date announced. Maybe there will be an announcement of a new actor joining the series.
