22. When Roger proposed

When it happened: Season 4, Episode 3

Why it happened: After his performance at the Scottish festival, Roger and Brianna were about the spend the night together. Roger chose this chance to ask Brianna to marry him, with a beautiful bangle as the “ring.”

Why it was so romantic: I get that a lot of people were on Brianna’s side in this, but I found Roger’s actions so beautiful sweet and romantic. He was extremely nervous but, at the same time, sure that he was going to hear a “yes.”

He already had the offer of a long engagement, knowing and acknowledging that Brianna was a lot younger than him. Instead of a ring, he offered a bracelet, helping to ease the idea of the engagement. And that bracelet was inscribed with a quote that meant the world to both of them.

Unfortunately, it didn’t remain as romantic as he would have liked. Brianna turned him down, making it clear that she wasn’t ready to consider marriage. However, I did love Roger’s “I want all of you or none of you.”

We got a chance to see just how deeply Roger loved Brianna. He wanted to give her the world and just wanted a “yes” in return.
