5 best Brianna moments in Outlander Season 4, Episode 7
2. Making a decision to save a girl
While the actual decision happened off screen, we got to see her initial thoughts on indentured servants but then the need to protect someone. When Lizzie’s dad first asked for help, Brianna made it clear that she wasn’t interested. Possibly not realizing what life was like in the 18th century, she made it clear that he should do more to protect his daughter.
When she learned the truth, it didn’t take her long to make a decision. She bought the contract and then set sail for the Colonies. This moment shows Brianna’s heart. She wants to make sure others are safe and that they get a chance in life, hinting at things that could happen in the future.
1. Seeing Frank at the docks
By far, my favorite Brianna moment in Outlander Season 4, Episode 7 was when Brianna looked over at Frank’s ghost at the docks. Whether an actual ghost or just a figment of her imagination, this was a special moment. For years, she’s carried the knowledge she never told Frank she loved him back but he’s never left her.
We got to see that proud look in his face and it gave her the strength and courage for the next part of her journey. After all, the trek from the stones to the harbor wasn’t easy. She didn’t catch the ride she’d hoped to and then there was the risk of being arrested for being a witch thanks to Laoghaire. This vision of Frank was something she needed to start the journey across the water.
