Any tension between Claire and Jamie? With Claire and Jamie reunited, all tension had disappeared. The two were in love and ready to start their lives together again.

Why it’s the best: In a way, this is more of a Jamie and Fergus moment, but deep down there’s a Claire and Jamie moment tucked in there. As Jamie officially gave Fergus his name, there was a look from Claire.

She’d considered Fergus her adopted son for a long time. When Fergus went off to fight at the Battle of Prestonpans, Claire was scared. She didn’t know whether to hug or hit him when he returned unscathed but shocked. Jamie also viewed this French orphan as his own, even if there was never an official proclamation.

That’s why the wedding night in Outlander Season 3 stood out so much. As Jamie gave Fergus his name, there was a look from Claire that said everything she was thinking. In a way she was shocked, but it was a happy shock. She was overcome with emotion and you could tell in that moment, she loved Jamie more than ever before.

And then the two just watched as their adopted son married his dream girl and took a new step in life. They were the proud parents, standing together, arm in arm with everything else forgotten.
