Any tension between Claire and Jamie? After Jamie asked to gamble Frank’s wedding ring, there was most definitely tension between Claire and Jamie.

Why it’s the best: By Outlander Season 5, there aren’t many reasons for Claire and Jamie to have any tension between them. They are both on the same side, back in the same time period, and ready to tackle whatever comes their way. However, Episode 6 saw Jamie ask Claire of something she never expected.

The moment in the stables was a moment of angry passion. It’s just something we don’t get to see and there’s no doubt that it was something we were looking forward to. While there was some awkwardness (aren’t all these moments awkward?) there was still plenty of feeling between the two. We got a moment that we haven’t had for some time.

One of the best things about this was that the tension between the couple didn’t last too long. And there were plenty of reminders of the Season 1 arguments.
