Would you vote Outlander for more Creation Ent conventions?

Creation Ent is looking at its 2019 plan for conventions and wants fans to vote for what they’d like. Outlander is on the list to vote with a bit of a twist. Would you vote for more Outlander cons?

Can you believe we’re almost at the end of the year? That means closer to Outlander Season 4 for us, but it means looking forward to 2019 for Creation Ent. And that’s just what the business is doing.

Those who receive email alerts heard last night that the convention organizers were looking for fans to vote for what they’d like to see. This is mostly about the types of conventions and events, and Outlander was on that list.

This may be surprising for some. After all, the two conventions this year just didn’t work out that well. Sam Heughan had to cancel both due to scheduling conflicts (because conventions will always be the lowest priority) and Caitriona Balfe and Tobias Menzies canceled one. The cancellations left a bitter taste in the mouth for many, even if the actual conventions were a lot of fun.

So, will anyone actually vote for the show to get another official convention? Creation Ent has thought about that. The suggestion is “with celebrities other than Sam & Catriona, possible writers, producers as well.”

This would be a lot more sense. While Sam and Caitriona are certainly the big draws, it’s a lot of fun hearing the other stars talk. If the writers and producers were there to answer fan questions and discuss their love for the books, the show, and the fandom, that would be awesome. The writers answer a lot of questions on Twitter, but hearing them speak is definitely the icing on the cake.
