About the character: If you like snide characters, then you’ll love James Fitzpatrick. He’s a suck up, plain and simple. This is a man who wants the best for himself and he will say he’ll do whatever it takes. When it comes down to it, he’s all words and no action. Apart from that last point, this could be Frank or Black Jack, right?

Why it deserves a spot: The Terror was AMC’s big supernatural hit of 2018. It was actually a relatively surprising hit, to be honest, and has been confirmed for a second season. However, Tobias Menzies isn’t attached to it by the looks of things. In fact, he was only credited for the first season finale. I’m not sharing spoilers as to why!

James Fitzpatrick isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea. He’s snide, rude, and doesn’t have the guts to follow through with what he says he’ll do.

Why is it worth the number two spot? Well, because yet again Tobias is able to take on a very different role. This time you will see some similarities but they’re quickly squashed with other character traits. Plus, he’s in this the most out of everything else on the list (bar a couple of movies).
