Outlander Season 4 casting: Who is Elysia Welch
Since it looks like Elysia Welch will play Morag MacKenzie in Outlander Season 4, it’s worth looking into the actress. What have you seen her in and what will she be like as Morag?
Morag Gunn MacKenzie is an important character in Roger’s life. Without major spoilers, the two will eventually meet and lead to some serious consequences and development for Roger. Now it looks like this important character will be played by Elysia Welch in Outlander Season 4.
Starz hasn’t officially confirmed this, so we don’t know for certain yet. However, Starz isn’t really confirming much right now! There’s a strong indication that Elysia is joining the cast, so it’s time to look at who she is as an actress.

Elysia has four credits to her name and those credits are for this year and next year (one is still in post-production).
She plays Charlene in the short Mad Bob and is credited as “Nurse” in the TV movie To Provide All People. Both are UK productions. This isn’t surprising considering many of the cast in Outlander are British and have been in a number of British productions and dramas over the years.
To Provide All People was a TV movie based on a poem about the British NHS, the healthcare system. This is a growing concern for people in the country and the focus was on what the NHS does and has to offer.

The Scottish actress has an audition tape on the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama’s website, so you can get a sense of her skills and abilities. There is some strong language, but nothing you won’t be used to with Outlander. I can certainly see her as Morag MacKenzie. She also retweets a lot so you’ll probably know right away when the casting announcement has been made.
