Sam Heughan and Tobias Menzies aren’t the only ones no longer attending Outlander New Jersey con. Now Steven Cree has canceled his appeared at the Creation Ent event.
Fans looking forward to seeing Steven Cree at Outlander New Jersey con will have to wait for another event instead. The actor has had to cancel his appearance at the weekend event. The news was shared in an email alert directly from Creation Ent before being updated on the official site.
You may have missed the announcement at first. It was buried in the update that six guests had been added to the line-up. Actually, technically seven have been added, as you’ll get to meet Gwyllyn the Bard at the upcoming convention weekend. Nothing like trying to hide the bad news, right?

It’s certainly disappointing for many. This comes after Tobias Menzies and Sam Heughan both canceled their appearances at the Outlander New Jersey con. Both had to cancel for filming commitments. It’s not clear why Cree is no longer attending, but it could be for the same reasons. He also has Outlaw King coming out soon, so it could be for promotional reasons instead.
Anyone who got photos ops or bought the autographs ahead of time for Cree will get those tickets refunded. However, the tickets for the weekend event are non-refundable. This is also out of the window for some hotel cancellations.
Cree was set to be at the event both Saturday and Sunday. A full schedule hasn’t been created yet.
