Outlander New Jersey con update: Six guests added to the line up

Creation Ent has added six guests to the Outlander New Jersey con. Get all the details, including names and days they’ll appear.

It was sad news when Creation Ent confirmed that both Tobias Menzies and Sam Heughan would need to cancel their appearances at the Outlander New Jersey con. For Sam fans, this was off the back of canceling the Las Vegas con.

Well, with the major guests canceling, Creation Ent has gone back to the drawing board to land more. Six guests have now been added to make up for the loss of the two. Here are all the details.

For those who want to hear more about on the set of Outlander Season 4 and want to see the stars you’ll see on your screens soon, there are two additions to make note of.

Lauren Lyle will be at the convention on both Friday and Saturday. This is excellent for those who want to see more of Cesar Domboy and Lauren together off screen. They clearly have an excellent working relationship and both will be at Outlander New Jersey con at the same time. Hopefully, some photo ops with the two together will open up.

Richard Rankin is the second guest from Outlander Season 4, who will attend on the Sunday. Unfortunately, Sophie Skelton isn’t at this event, but Caitriona Balfe is still confirmed to attend, so there will hopefully be some moments between the two.

Outlander Season 1 and 2 favorites

The other four guests are favorites from the first two seasons (although one was in Outlander Season 3 too). Gary Lewis is now confirmed for Saturday and Sunday, which are the same days that Graham McTavish will be there. Hopefully, we’ll get to see some brother photo ops and Q&As with the two together.

Lotte Verbeek is also confirmed, but for Friday and Saturday. It’s a shame there won’t be anything with Roger and his ancestor since the days don’t match, but Saturday opens the opportunity for a Geillis/Dougal photo op.

Scott Kyle is also confirmed for Friday and Saturday. He’d already shared that he would be willing to go to Outlander New Jersey con and was waiting for Creation Ent to ask him, so I’m happy to see the con organizers clicked on that.

Finally, it’s all about Andrew Gower, our own Bonnie Prince Charlie, who will be there on Saturday and Sunday. Get ready for a few “Mark mes.”

Musical entertainment

Gillebride MacMillan will be at the convention on the first two days, as well as at the Saturday Night Concert. This is as well as the current house band, The Reelers, that will be there all weekend.

MacMillan was Gwyllyn the Bard in the fourth episode of Outlander. He’s the one that tells the story of the woman going through the stones that Jamie translates for Claire, so it’s exciting to see him at the con.

It’s going to be disappointing not having Menzies and Heughan, but that doesn’t mean Outlander New Jersey con won’t be fun.
