The official Outlander Season 4 promo is finally out. It’s time to break it down. Here are the top five takeaways from it.

Now that the Outlander Season 4 promo is out, there are a few assumptions we can make. There are also some important takeaways about the season as a whole. Now that I’ve watched the promo for what feels like the millionth time, I’ve got the chance to break it down into the most important takeaways or standout moments. There are five that really stood out for me.

This post may contain some spoilers for those who haven’t read the books. It’s also going to include some teases of the things to come, purely based on the promo.

5. Claire and Jamie want to make a home

Rather than look for a way to get back to Scotland, it’s clear that Jamie and Claire just want to make a home together. Claire mentions that they could stay to make a new life together and Jamie doesn’t exactly put up a fight. In fact, he even seems to revel in the idea of starting anew.

We knew “home” and “family” would be themes that come up in the series. It looks like that’s the case from the very beginning. This is the first time the Frasers get to really put down some roots, so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.
