Fans of various shows around the world are taking part in the Radio Times Sci-Fi & Fantasy show voting. It’s just the first round and Outlander is already set to take first place in its group.

Radio Times is hosting its Sci-Fi and Fantasy fan voting competition. This is the time that fandoms around the world get to show off that they’re the most passionate. Outlander fans tend to rally together well for these types of competitions and awards and this time is no different. The show is taking over Group D (it’s group in the first round of the competition).

Voting doesn’t end for another few hours, but it’s great news. Up against the likes of Twin Peaks and Orphan Black, it wasn’t really that surprising. The Sassenachs are always extremely vocal. However, it was The 100 fans that were the bigger concern. Whenever these two shows are pitted against each other it’s a close race to the finish line.

More from Outlander Fandom

With the Radio Times voting, you can cast your vote as much as you like within the allotted time frame. The sci-fi and fantasy shows have been split into four groups and the top four from each group will go through to the second round.

It’s then over to the knock-out stages, where Outlander fans will need to be on their top form. This is when the likes of Shadowhunters and Lucifer may become a little more concerning, as the fandoms are also vocal and passionate.

This is all a bit of fun, but we do get passionate when it comes to our shows. Sassenachs tend to be extremely loud when it comes to this type of voting. We can do it again, right? If you want to keep helping to make sure it remains on the top spot, you’ve got until 8 a.m. PST and 11 a.m. EST (Radio Times is British and the voting closes at 4 p.m. BST) today. Can you sneak a couple of extra votes in there?
