Prepare yourselves, Sassenachs. The UK is going to air the saddest Outlander episode of the season. In fact, Outlander Season 2, Episode 7 may be the saddest episode of all.

Outlander Season 2, Episode 7 airs tonight in the UK. Titled “Faith,” it is arguably the saddest episode of the whole show. The title itself alludes to the name of Jamie and Claire’s child, but there’s a much bigger meaning to it as you get into the episode.

Now onto some of the teasers and minor spoilers. We pick up shortly after the last episode. You’ll remember Claire collapsed as Jamie was arrested for dueling with Black Jack Randall, who incidentally was stabbed in his crotch area. This episode is all about Claire dealing with the aftermath of the duel; of Jamie breaking that promise he made her.
