Why Outlander fans should join with the Clockblockers to save Timeless
There are building love stories
Lucy and Wyatt have become the couple people have shipped, but there are other love stories that have evolved. While nothing is quite like Claire and Jamie’s love story, there are many reasons to watch the couples get together, the developments to unfold, and find yourself stuck in the middle of love triangles.
For the most part, the love stories and triangles don’t take over the main focus on the history and the attempt to stop the terrorist and evil organization. However, they are substantial enough to have ship names. Watch out, you will become a #Lyatt shipper before you know it!
Intricate story building
Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan are the showrunners of Timeless. These are men who don’t just build a story for a season. They have a bigger plan and look forward to the second, third, and more seasons. Just to get an idea of how much story building can happen, Kripke is known for the first five seasons of Supernatural, which all fit together with plenty of storytelling.
When you want another show that develops worlds, characters, and stories, you’ll want to catch Timeless. There are moments of foreshadowing in the first few episodes with answers coming in the second season.
The downside is we’re now left with a cliffhanger at the end of the second season. Timeless needs a third season to bring a good resolution.
