Ever wanted to just send an Emoji to let your Outlander friends know you’re thinking about Jamie Fraser? Well, now you can!

Ginger-haired Emojis are finally here. While this may be a small thing for the majority of people, it’s awesome for Outlander fans. We can now send our friends a quick picture to let them know we’re watching our favorite series. Paired with the woman with brown hair, you can put Claire and Jamie side-by-side.

Okay, so there is a slight issue with the Emojis. The ginger-haired guy doesn’t have long locks as he would in the 18th century. It’s more the length of Sam Heughan’s hair instead of Jamie’s, but it’s better than nothing, right? That’s no longer the case of looking for a GIF that shows who you’re thinking about or wasting time typing out his name.

The big question right now is why the ginger-haired Emojis are yellow-faced. This has become a joke about the drinking in Scotland. Your face turns that color if you drink enough to slow down your liver. But the jokes continue as people point out that ginger-haired people are either paly white or lobster red.

Now the question is about kilts and bagpipes. This would have opened a way of sharing you were watching, especially the kilts. One step at a time, though.

The changes come with the Unicode 11.0 update. This can take time to happen, as the changes will need to filter through to various tech systems.
