A photo has surfaced that may be the first glimpse of Ed Speleers as Stephen Bonnet in Outlander Season 4.
Fans of Outlander may have caught the very first glance of Stephen Bonnet, courtesy of a photo posted online. The image, which appeared on the Daily Mail website earlier this month, shows two men shaking hands on a dock and one looks a lot like Ed Speleers. What do you think?

Outlander Season 4 filming has been underway in Dunure and Glasgow, Scotland for the last few weeks and massive amounts of photos showing Sophie Skelton (Bree Randall-Fraser) and Steven Cree (Ian Murray) filming together in the city, but it appears as though we may be seeing Speleers in costume for the very first time.
Speleers was cast in the part of the convicted Irish pirate and smuggler Stephen Bonnet when Season 3 was still airing and fans of the series have been patiently waiting to see how he’ll appear on the show.
Spoiler alert: He turns out to not be a very nice guy (if the show follows the storyline of the book of course).
The man in the images is wearing a long brown coat and his bright red hair tied in the back. and is seen shaking the hand of someone who appears to be a beggar. Multiple photos show him filming and talking with the set crew.

Speleers is no stranger to period dramas as he’s also appeared on Wolf Hall, Downton Abbey, and Beowulf and appears on the big screen in movies like Breathe and Lars Von Trier’s The House that Jack Built.
