Sam Heughan commiserates with Once Upon a Time fans and cast
ABC confirmed Once Upon a Time will end with Season 7 and it turns out a certain Outlander actor was a fan.
As Once Upon a Time fans commiserate the end of their series, Sam Heughan took to Twitter to share his thoughts. The Outlander actor was also a fan of the series and purposely tagged Colin O’Donoghue in a tweet to wish all the cast and crew the best for the future.
Fans learned that the fairytale series would come to an end after seven seasons. While there are mixed opinions on whether it should have ended with Season 6 and how fans feel after the most recent reboot, the news doesn’t come as a shock for many. However, Heughan have kept his tweet respectful, sharing his love for the series and the hope for his fellow actors and more.

O’Donoghue, who plays Captain Hook on the series, tweeted Heughan back with his appreciation for the support. That led to a request from Heughan for Hook’s hook, likely as a piece of a memory for the series.
Meanwhile, Outlander fans took to the tweets between the two actors to request that O’Donoghue come to their series. Considering Once Upon a Time was all about fairytales in the enchanted forest, he certainly has the ability to play a period drama role. Plus, the fairytale series included a number of jokes as Hook tried to understand more about the technology of the 21st century and failed miserably on most accounts. He’d fit right in with Jamie in Outlander.
While Droughtlander continues, OUaT may be a show that you want to give a try. While it’s coming to an end, there are still six and a half seasons to watch from the beginning. There is also still half a season to come when the series returns next month to ABC.
