The Language of ‘Outlander’
Perhaps one of the best parts of Outlander the TV show, as a book reader, is being able to hear the Scottish characters speaking Gaelic! There is tons of Gaelic in the books, but up until now most of us had no idea how it really sounded or what the proper pronunciation of some of our favorite little saying was.

Some of the most important Gaelic sayings and phrases were included. If you haven’t read the books, some of these might not make any sense to you, but that’s okay because I’m going to explain them to you!
