The ‘Outlander’ TV series is produced by Ron Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek) and airs on Starz. The first season aired in 2014/ 15 and season 2 will air sometime in 2016.

I am a hardcore book lover. I am a book purist. However, being the die hard Outlander fan that I am, I could NOT miss the opportunity to see my favorite characters and story come to life. So, I ordered Starz and I am SO glad that I did. It’s a beautiful homage to the books and the story we all love. I hope that you get the chance to watch this show, because it is well worth your time!

This isn’t like book to movie adaptations that have to mess with things and change all the parts we love in order to fit it into a 2.5 hour mold. This is 16 hours of beautiful setting, wondering cast, and the story we all know by heart (or, not, if you’re new!).

Give it a shot. I know you’ll love it.

So there you have it! Get to it, you have plenty to keep you busy this winter… ‘Outlander’ is coming…
