What to get the cast to sign at The Gathering 2024

With The Gathering 2024 less than a week away, you’ll be getting all your items together. Some of those items are what you’ll get signed by the cast.

Each tier includes some autographs, with some tiers including multiple autographs with the cast. Then you have the opportunity to buy some autographs to make sure you get everything you want to remember the event.

So, what do you take to sign? There are a few ideas.

Do you have a prop you’d like signed at The Gathering 2024?

Some people like to have props signed. Some of these do need approval from Sasnak City, but you can get a lot signed so that you can then hang it up on the wall.

Just make sure it’s suitable for signing. If you need special pens for this, take them with you. The cast will only have a selection of Sharpies to sign in the most traditional ways.

Artwork, special books, and more

You could get artwork signed instead. This is a popular option, especially if you got a print created or if you’ve made something yourself. This can lead to discussions with the cast members, especially as they learn more about a print that they haven’t seen before.

I have a book that has the Scotland map with important Outlander locations on the front. Each page is then signed by the cast members when I’ve been to an event. This could be an option.

Others have taken a copy of Outlander or one of the other books so that they can have their favorite actors sign for safe keeping. You could get an extra copy of the book, making it possible to sign specific pages.

Another great option is to get the photo you have taken at Sasnak City signed. Most tiers include the all-cast photo, and you can always purchase it if it’s not included in your tier. You can have them sign the actual photo, or you can get a frame that you get them to sign instead.

If you get a photo with the individual cast members, you can get them to sign those instead. That’s something I’ve done in the past when they’ve already signed my book as there’s more space on the individual ones.

There are autograph cards at The Gathering 2024

Your registration pack will come with autograph cards. You can have these signed if you want and if you didn’t bring something with you. It can be great for those flying who can’t bring something large with them.

This is something that I did at my first event. I wasn’t sure what we needed and I had decided to go at the last minute, so I wasn’t fully prepared. It was a great addition and I’ve put all the cards into a scrapbook to mark that first event.
