What to expect in Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1, episode 6
The promo and synopsis for the episode is focused on Henry and Julia, which makes sense since we seem to be alternating which couple takes the main storyline. Episode 5 was all about Brian and Ellen at Beltane, and now we’re cutting to Julia’s waters breaking. That means that she’s been in the past for around eight months, since she already knew that she was pregnant.
Simon wants to marry Julia before the birth of the child, which will legitimize the birth. This is linked to the prophecy, and his believe that this son will become a king. However, what happens if this baby isn’t a boy? What happens with Julia, as she tries to fight to get back to her husband?
Meanwhile, Henry makes it clear that he is searching for his wife. This could change everything for that search, especially as he learns from a midwife that something didn’t go well with the birth of his and Julia’s baby.
